What happens if my account balance is negative?

If your Funds balance goes negative, here's what you need to know:

Daily Charge

A Delayed Payment Charge (DPC) of 0.05% per day (inclusive of GST) is applied on the negative amount until it's cleared.

After 5 Trading Days

If the negative balance continues for 5 consecutive trading days, a portion of your pledged shares may be sold by the risk management team to recover the amount. You can also sell your pledged or free shares to make your balance positive.
